Litany Not To Be Put To The Test

Please make the sign of the cross....
Touch your forehead as you say (or pray silently) "In nomine Patris" ("In the name of the Father")
touch the breastbone or top of the belly as you say "et Filii" ("and of the Son")
touch the left shoulder, then right shoulder, as you say "et Spiritus Sancti" ("and of the Holy Spirit"). Note that some people end the Sign by crossing the thumb over the index finger to make a cross, and then kissing the thumb as a way of "kissing the Cross."

Intentions.....
In the name of Christ Jesus, God, Our Father in Heaven my intentions are you to please forego in having me, my loved ones: friends, family - living or dead - from being put to the test. Through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.

Litany For Myself and My Loved Ones:
Friends and Family/Living & Dead

Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Christ hear us. Christ graciously hear us.
God, the Father of heaven, have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world, have mercy on us. God the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us. Holy Trinity, one God, have mercy on us.

Your Name____________________
Response: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and do not subject us to the final test, but deliver us from the evil one.

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray: Grant, we beg you, O Lord God, that we your servants may enjoy lasting health of mind and body, and by the glorious intercession of the Blessed Mary, ever Virgin, be delivered from present sorrow and enter into the joy of eternal happiness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
